Eleven dance music artists and DJs – including Paul Oakenfold, Groove Armada and Thievery Corporation – will rework songs from Paul Simon’s classic ‘Graceland’ for the upcoming remix album ‘Graceland – The Remixes’. The Simon-approved album features all 11 tracks of the ‘Graceland’ tracks reinterpreted. Having sold over 16 million copies worldwide, Graceland became a legendary production with Paul Simon sampling diverse sounds and World Music styles, creating an eclectic mixture of pop, rock, African Zulu isicathamiya, and mbaqanga dance styles. The album has received a special 2018 update, with an array of music’s biggest names spinning their interpretations on the classic album.
