Undoubtedly Tame Impala’s new record Currents has been one of the most anticipated, and certainly most hyped album releases of the year so far. It’s been three years since the release of their Grammy-nominated sophomore record, Lonerism and the band have been drip-feeding the public with new tracks for months. Parker’s abilities as a producer are really brought to the fore on ‘Currents’ and once again Tame Impala have shown that they’re a creative force to be reckoned with, and one that will continue to grow and develop for as long as they are making music. This one will feature on many ‘best of’ lists for 2015, and rightly so.
