Up All Night, the fourth album from Australian folk mainstays The Waifs released in 2003 is getting a shiny remix to celebrate it’s 20th Anniv, is indisputably one of the classic Australian albums of the 2000s.

Their hard work & constant touring was rewarded at the ARIA Music Awards of 2003 they won Best Independent ReleaseBest Blues and Roots Album for Up All Night, as well as Engineer of the Year and Producer of the Year for Chris Thompson’s work on the album.  The media celebrated with them, calling them an “overnight success 11 years in the making!”.

The impact and influence of many of its songs continues to resonate to this day, with tracks like ‘London Still’, ‘Lighthouse’, ‘Fisherman’s Daughter’ and ‘Highway One’ among the band’s most celebrated work.

The 20th anniversary of that album’s release was this past January, and the band are not letting this milestone go without a monumental celebration.  The Waifs will do what they do best in celebration of this anniversary: they’re hitting the road.  Criss-crossing Australia through June and appearing somewhere near you with a rotating list of guests including MISSY HIGGINS, MICK THOMAS, LIZ STRINGER, FELICITY URQUART, JEFF LANG, JORDIE LANE popping in at various shows…what a treat
