Description

The Living End are back after a five-year break with a brand new album and tour starting in June. The punk rock trio from Melbourne had worldwide hits in the ’90s with Prisoner of Society and All Torn Down, has maintained a loyal fan base, continued to release albums and delivers great live shows. Singer and chief songwriter Chris Cheney moved to Los Angeles in 2011, bassist Scott Owen moved to Byron Bay, while drummer Andy Strachan made a sea change to Victoria’s coast. All three members took on other musical projects during the band’s hiatus but seventh album Shift, set for release on May 13, is testimony to the group’s solidarity. First single Keep on Running is out now and the Living End play the Forum in Melbourne on June 24 as part of a national album tour.
