US based Country music star Jay O’Shea spent 15 years trying to track down her biological parents.
When she finally discovered who they were, the story of her life and career as a musician suddenly made much more sense.In 2010, Jay flew half way across the world from Tennessee to Sydney to reconnect with her biological father, who just happens to be the founding member and drummer of the iconic Australian band Midnight Oil, Rob Hirst.
10-years-later, the pair are about to release their new album “The Lost and the Found.”
Both outstanding musicians in their own right, together they’ve combined to deliver an album that perfectly unites their vocals, songwriting and music sensibilities.
