‘Dance of Sound’ is the debut album to emerge from the cross-cultural collaboration of local Victorian artist/musician Demir Aliu and Argentinian contemporary dancer/artist Carolina Cazzulino. The duo combine cultural influences from Southern Europe, Asia and the Americas — forming a very original and dynamic sonic investigation. The resulting piece is a beautifully woven stream of exploration into inner and outer movement, featuring expanding soundscapes and songs created live in an intuitive recording of voice, percussion, frame drums, singing bowls, native flutes and strings from all across the globe.
