  • Delaney & Bonnie Bramlett Were , Along with Groups Like The Band and The Allman Brothers, at the Center of the Late-‘60s Roots-Rock Revival. Motel Shot Was Their Fourth Studio Album and Third for Atco/Atlantic. The“And Friends” on Motel Shot Included Bobby Whitlock, Dave Mason, Joe Cocker, Gram Parsons, Duane Allman, and John Hartford. The Sessions for This Album Began in the Living Room of Doors Engineer Bruce Botnick as a Prospective Release for the Elektra Label. After Delaney & Bonnie Had a Falling Out with Elektra, Atlantic Had Them Record the Material in a Proper Studio. Those Later Sessions Became the Commercially Released Motel Shot, Which Was Only Available on CD Briefly in Japan. Real Gone Music’s Expanded Edition Includes the Original Album Plus the “Living Room” Sessions. Eight Unreleased Tracks.
