Description

When new wave icons Blondie hit Boston in May 1978, they were touring in support of their third studio album Parallel Lines released two months earlier. Reeling off highlights from the new album with favourites from the previous year’s Plastic Letters and their 1976 debut, Blondie were poised to become the biggest band on the planet with lead singer Debbie Harry embellishing the trademark songs that would turn them into million-selling rock stars.
As veterans of the stage, they certainly don’t disappoint. I have always held that almost any decent group of rock musicians can produce a decent studio effort, with all the technical tricks available today. The proof is in the live performance, in my opinion. Blondie belongs to that unique group of performers whose live performances often outshine their studio efforts.

Timeline proudly presents a superb, professionally remastered original WBCN-FM broadcast from 1978 of Blondie, performing live in Boston, MA. Presented with background liners and timeline photos.
