The band never did release an official live album during the original era but this new two-CD set, Live 1977 • Live 1979, puts a spotlight on the celebrated on-stage performances of original Bad Company line up: Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, Simon Kirke and Boz Burrell.This collection contains more than two and a half hours of overdub-free live performance and is made up of the band’s show at the Summit House in Houston, Texas, which took place on May 23rd, 1977 (in support of the Burning Sky album) and a March 9th, 1979 show in London, which was recorded during the band’s tour for Desolation Angels.
