A Trip In The Country was the funkier and fuzzier second album that Area Code 615 (a conglomerate of Nashville’s finest session men including Wayne Moss, Mac Guyden, and Kenneth Buttry) made for Polydor in 1970. It includes the out of this world country-rock / garage-psych hybrid ‘Gray Suit Men’ and the classic theme from The Old Grey Whistle Test (‘Stone Fox Chasse’) as well as come unique diversions into acid-rock, funk and easy listening.
