Fresh from her stunning in-store performance in the Basement on Record Store Day 2015, we have Abbie’s new release ‘Sonidos Del Corazon’ which is only available here at Basement Discs. Armed with her tenor banjo, guitar, ukulele, harmonica and voice Abbie naturally writes songs that pay homage to the genres of her influences. Creating music from acoustic roots, alt-country, Americana to even vintage Mariachi rock and Spaghetti Western, Abbie keeps herself busy performing solo or with one of her several bands in Australia and Mexico. ‘Sonidos Del Corazon’ was recorded in Mexico in December of last year by Gabriel Lopez.
