On his 12th album, taking in a sprawling 17 tracks, he picks up where 2014’s Brothers And Sisters Of The Eternal Son left off. Both sonically, and thematically, it feels a snug fit, a warm companion piece. The two lead characters created on that work and its predecessor (2012’s Maraqopa) are still present, but this time we find them out on a road trip, travelling through a warm and sun-drenched fictional land, checking rear view mirrors and strange encampments, appreciating friendship and encountering moments of epiphany and fresh emotion throughout.
